A Day in the El Raval | Streets of Barcelona

This video is a little different from my recent uploads, where the main focus typically lies on photography. Last year I went for a walk around the Raval neighborhood, Plaza Catalunya, Universitat, etc. and filmed some street scenes that caught my eye. I got to interview a wonderful soul who was offering free hugs at a busy street corner, witnessed an intense freestyle rap battle, observed some of the many skaters in front of the MACBA museum, and more things. For an entire year all this footage was merely sitting on my hard-drive, as I didn't really have an idea what to do with it. However, as life in the streets of Barcelona has change substantially in the course of the past year, I thought all of this footage would make an interesting little documentary.
