For this project you'll need one sock per puppet, pom poms, googly eyes, old cardboard, yarn, felt, glue and scissors. Begin by turning the sock inside out. Then cut out the desired mouth size in the cardboard and glue that onto the toe of the sock. Next, you'll flip the sock right side out, ending up with the mouth tucked in where you glued the cardboard. Now you have the basic shape. From here you'll add eyes, hair, a tongue, and anything else. You could add a hair bow, eyelashes, a mustache, a nose, ears, or glasses. Your imagination is your only limit!
