Seattle police investigate hate crime outside Capitol Hill LGBTQ+ bar

Seattle police are investigating a reported hate crime that happened outside an LGBTQ bar in Capitol Hill late Wednesday night. Witnesses reported a vehicle began circling the bar, located in the 1200 block of East Madison Street, at 11:30 p.m. The people inside the car were allegedly shouting anti-gay slurs at patrons outside the bar. According to witnesses, the car, described as a distinctively modified dark blue Lexus sedan, circled the block around 10 times over the course of an hour.
