Michael Burchett, a veteran of the hospitality industry, has spent 17 years of his career with Regent and Four Seasons in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, China, USA, and Indonesia. He was General Manager for both the Four Seasons Jimbaran & The Regent Jakarta (now Four Seasons) when they opened. Michael continued his career as vice-president of operations with Royal Garden Resorts in Thailand and was responsible for Four Seasons, Marriott, and Anantara branded hotels in Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Phuket, and Vietnam. He established MJB Hoteliers in 2012, which specializes in hospitality management and consulting services. Michael has now joined forces with Invest Islands to work on the Mandala Eco-Resort project, with the intent of creating an unforgivable experience for guests and residents, combining years of experience in the hospitality sector, with his eagerness to be part of extraordinary projects such as Mandala.
