How to Program the Buttons on a Coffee Machine (Barista Guide)

In this video we are looking at the buttons on commercial coffee machines and how you can program them depending on your machine and the type of coffee you're serving. Each machine is generally different and some have more buttons than others and some are programmed to operate differently. So how does that all work and how should you set them up? Well the first thing is to look into the capabilities of your coffee machine and understand exactly how it works. Then you should consider the types of coffee you are serving. Are you just serving a blend or do you also offer single origins and decaf? Luke takes a look at a couple of the machines we have at our roastery including a La Marzocco Linea Classic and a Sanremo Zoe which have their own unique sets of buttons and talks you through how we set those up.
