The five-part docuseries recounts the remarkable journey of the label, from its extraordinary rise to decline and rebirth to prominence. Featuring candid sit-down interviews from No Limit insiders like Master P, Romeo Miller, Snoop Dogg, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal, Fiend and Mr. Serv-On, in tandem with rare archival footage and dramatic recreations of pivotal events, viewers will get an in-depth look into the saga of this iconic entity which hasn't been told definitively, until now. "No Limit Chronicles" will premiere Wednesday, July 29, at 9 PM “NO LIMIT CHRONICLES,” the definitive story of Master P and No Limit Records and their remarkable journey to becoming one of the most successful record labels during the 1990s, will finally be told on BET. I wanted to share the series with you for review and feature story consideration. Parts I and II of the five-part docuseries will premiere on Wednesday, July 29, starting at 9 PM ET/PT on BET and will feature rare archival footage and sit-down interviews from Mater P, Snoop Dogg, Romeo Miller, Mystikal, Mia X and No Limit insiders who lived and tracked this record label’s astonishing history. No Limit is an American record label founded by Percy "Master P" Miller. The label's albums were distributed by Priority, Universal and Koch Records. The label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Short Circuit, Lil Soldiers, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Kane & Abel, Soulja Slim, among others. Percy "Master P" Miller began his career by distributing his records through a small San Francisco Bay Area record label, "No Limit Record Shop", which started out in Richmond, where his mother resided. He maintained connections to rival gang friends despite rivalries. During the early 1990s, Master P released many solo albums with little success. However, Miller was able to garner notoriety for himself and the fledgling No Limit label on the West Coast by collaborating with various artists on compilation albums such as West Coast Bad Boyz 1 & 2. By 1994, the label was on the rise, and Master P decided the time was right to expand the product. After signing Oakland rapper Dangerous Dame, who released the EP Escape from the Mental Ward through No Limit, he began working with New Orleans-based talent, starting with Kane & Abel (then known as Double Vision) and Mystikal, while TRU's third album, True, achieved gold status.
