That thumbnail accent colour would be blue if I didn't know any better. Here's one I've been excited to do for a while, but I haven't had time to sit down with it. A particularly psychic commenter on one of my posts remarked about how I should mix this song, and it took some restraint to not tell him I'm already doing it. Truth is, I've been wanting to remix this since it got leaked a few days before launch. Those riffs are just so groovy - and this song got absolutely butchered by that maximum 3 hour runtime on the album. It's just as well, because I was able to splice my favourite unique parts without much hassle as to whether they'd fit since I was already working around a very good first-third-of-a-full-mix. I've also been fairly inspired by another favourite commenter telling me about how I should try to retain that "personal touch" to my mixes, as some might put it. It's probably for that reason that I'm putting this up BEFORE Infernal Chasm, because I'm more proud of this mix than I am of that one. It's got a lot of SLAD3-isms that I've picked up recently, but I think it's a lot more true-to-form with the way I've been making the Dark Ages soundtrack my own.
