Pakapakanthi Parkrun #295 - My First Time in South Australia! Pakapakanthi PARKRUN! A mostly flat parkrun, on a mixture of permanent paths and gravel paths, and very busy which made it slightly harder. The run is located at Pakapakanthi/Victoria Park, Adelaide and is all around the park! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Pakapakanthi Parkrun experience. Pakapakanthi Parkrun is an out and back course on a mixture of sealed path and trail which starts and finishes near the mid-point of the western border of the park, near Halifax St/East Tce. Buggies/prams are allowed at this parkrun and dogs are also allowed. There are public toilets next to the start as well as under the grandstand. As the route is run on a mixture of permanent paths and gravel paths, trail shoes are reccomended! In terms of how busy the parkrun is, it is a busy parkrun with on average 506 runners/joggers/walkers a week. Therefore, I would definitely reccomend getting to the front if you are going for a PB. With it being a parkrun on a mixture of permanent paths and gravel paths, this is a quick parkrun where you have the chance to get a PB! The weather was very nice on the day, sunny spells and not too hot either. The atmosphere was great and the volunteers made it a fun morning! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins. Pakapakanthi Parkrun is a great run to tick off the "P" on the alphabeteer challenge and it is the 4th "P" I have done!
