What accuracy can you expect from the Steyr AUG? What is the most accurate round to use? Join me as I take the first steps on a series of ammo tests that I hope will yield some definitive answers to these questions! This video establishes a baseline for the type of accuracy that I was able to get from ammunition ranging from 55 grains to 77 grains of .223 and 5.56 loadings from two popular, major manufacturers. Shooting was conducted for three and a half hours in temperatures averaging 94 degrees Fahrenheit, with intermittent gusts of wind. I make no claims that any information presented in this video on the performance of the rounds is the absolute truth. The results were what I, as an average shooter, were able to achieve shooting in field conditions.
