Starting a new feature today. Campground tour Tuesday. Each Tuesday I will be publishing a tour of a campground I've stayed in with the hope it helps you decide to stay or not to stay at the reviewed camp. In this inaugural episode I review the Birch Creek BLM Campground in Idaho. Today we are touring the BLM Birch Creek Campground in Clark County Idaho. It is a primitive campground with no trash service. Standard BLM camping rules with a 14 day stay limit. This campground has many very large sites that can accommodate multiple RV's and tents. It is really built to be a family get together type of camp ground. Near the main entrance the sites are improved with steel fire rings and picnic tables at some sites. There are pit toilet facilities scattered along the length of the campground which is about 5 1/2 miles long. The further south you go in the campground you are less likely to find fire rings or picnic tables but most of the sites are readily accessible to large rv's like mine and the roads are in reasonably good condition but when I was there dusty…
