A recent attempt to catch one of the huge trout that lives in my favourite hatch pool on the upper Hampshire Avon turned into a demonstration of how many different kinds of fish love to eat these amazing and beautiful flies. Mayfly madness at its fish-leaping, fly-snatching craziest. My thanks, as always, go to Sean Geer for his help and advice in getting this video made, and to Marcus Dyne for all the original music, bar the bit starting at 7:56 which is courtesy of Bensound, and is credited below. Marcus doesn't have a web site for his stuff. Maybe I should build him one as some kind of reciprocal thing. I dunno though, I might get a reputation for being fair and reasonable, which would only result in disappointment.
