2022 Kawasaki KX450SR Review: Big Power + KYB

My (2) biggest impressions after riding the 2022 Kawasaki KX450SR: 1. Big Power: This engine might be the best 450F engine out there today. Very strong power from the first turn of the throttle that just keeps building all the way to top RPM's. The power is super strong yet somehow somewhat easy to control (with the stock EFI coupler - the aggressive coupler is too much response) even without traction control. The full Pro Circuit Ti exhaust system, ported head, and special SR EFI mapping all combine to make what is perhaps the best 450F engine off the showroom floor. 2. KYB Suspension: Well damped, firm, controlled, and friction free movement from forks and shock. So absorbing of the little chop (you can notice it just riding to the track) yet takes the bigger inputs so well and even 1-clicker changes are noticeable so plenty of adjustment range to dial it in for any rider or track. I hope Kawasaki continues continues to offer SR models in the future!
