🔧 Simple DIY to connect a garden hose to PVC pipe to test a zone on your irrigation system using a Hose to PVC pipe Adapter. This method is perfect for temporary testing after pool construction or landscape projects that damage your PVC pipes of an irrigation system. I was lucky to have two zones unharmed during pool construction but needed to test it. This DIY garden hose adapter hack lets you connect a garden hose directly to PVC pipes and run your sprinklers to test and troubleshoot! Here's what you'll need: • Garden hose • Access to the PVC pipe – have to dig! • PVC to Hose Adapter/pipe fittings - 3/4 in or 1/2 in Slip x Female Thread Pipe PVC Fitting The PVC Hose Adapter is designed for use with 1/2 in. Schedule 40 or 200 PVC wherever you need a connection between a standard garden hose thread and PVC pipe.
