I've been asked how I make these a lot, so here is my tutorial on my process of making custom tokens! I hope it helps! Written tutorial at the bottom of the description! Check out a gallery of every token/orica I've made! https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s... You can find cheaper, alternative sticker paper on Amazon. Fair warning though, I haven't experimented with these. http://adf.ly/1lm82x TEMPLATE UPDATED! Now features two extra token slots, as well as enough room for two full size card printouts! GIMP DOWNLOAD: http://www.gimp.org/ Supplies: Pure Acetone (Maximum Strength) Cotton Balls Glue Stick Scissors Transparent Decal Sheet Printer Secret or Super Rare YuGiOh card Token Water Art Process: To kill a card 1. Apply acetone to cotton ball 2. Gently rub all of the ink off and reapply acetone as needed To kill the back of a card 1. After rubbing all of the ink off, let card sit in water for a few minutes 2. Rub all the cardboard off of the back so it would be really thin To apply sticker to holograph 1. Gently clean foil with acetone 2. Carefully place sticker over holograph 3. Position and cut 4. Glue onto token When printing Token Template (GIMP) 1. Make sure the size of the project is 8.5 x 11 inches 2. Check the "Ignore Paper Margins" box 3. Template is larger than reality to allow room for human error when cutting. UPDATE: I don't really do the water thing anymore. The purpose of that was to minimize the amount of paper you glue onto the top of the card, making it flush. I found this process to be better: 1. After rubbing the ink away with acetone, dab a cotton ball with a light mixture of water and dish soap. Apply a thin layer to the top of the card. 2. Use your fingernail to peel off the back of the card 3. Apply your sticker to the top of the card 4. Use something with a flat rounded edge, like the smooth end of a flash drive or credit card, to push bubbles out. The soap and water solution should really help with this. Don't push too hard or you'll scrape the art 5.
