Sören Sieg: Mourning. 2nd mov of UKUZINGELA. Anastasiya Piatrova (violin) and Sören Sieg (piano).

This is the second movement of the Suite UKUZINGELA (The Hunt - Die Jagd) I wrote this year (2025), originally for recorder trio, but I immediately re-composed it for violin and piano to perform it with Anastasiya Piatrova. She is a classical violinist from Hrodna, Belarus, and writes about herself: "I have been playing violin since I was 5 years old, graduated gimnazium -college of Arts named Achremchick , and Academy of music in Minsk. All my life I have been working as an orchestra musician in Symphony orchestra and Opera theatre. Also I am teaching violin and participating in contemporary musical projects which are created by gifted people right now."
