Growing up I had a lot of different music playing in my house. Out of all the music and the different singers I used to hear as a kid, one voice always stood out for me and touched my heart and that was the voice of the great Kishore Kumar. I can say he was my first Guru. To say I have heard him a lot would be an understatement. His songs are forever embedded in my subconscious mind. When I started professionally singing on stage around 1990-1991 his songs were the ones that carried me through all the shows. They carried me through college and through life. Very proud of what we achieved with this recreation. I tried to give it my own feel which I try in all my songs. We had a great time shooting this fun video.
