One of my favorite activities is scuba diving, and on this adventure I actually get to go diving with one of my best friends - my sister. Together we set out from the cruise ship in St. Thomas on the US Virgin Islands with Underwater Adventure Diving, a local dive shop to go see what the Caribbean water is all about. We made our way over to Buck Island and dove with reef sharks over the Buck Island reef and then, for our second dive, went searching for the wreckage of the Cartanza Senora, a storied freighter with a dark history. This was an excursion that we booked the Norwegian Cruise Line and as far as excursions go this one really delivered. We were also both able to use the More-At-Sea Excursion credit to get a great deal on this 2-tank dive. This is NickGoes Far, I’m Nick, and I’m glad you’re here. Originally from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, I have been traveling the world since I was 3 years old, and have led a fairly uncommon life ever since. Now, I'm a commercial pilot flying in the United States, a full-time nomad and traveler. NickGoesFar was originally "The Roaming Pilot", a travel blog where I would share my adventures, tips on expat life, and photography. As I leapt headfirst into content creation, film making, and wanted to be able to share with more people - a change was needed, and after a few iterations I landed here. I am incredibly grateful that years of hard work allow me to continue doing something I love, seeing the world and immersing myself in it. 😊🎥🌎
