Hello YouTube subscribers! Comin' at ya with a quick update showing off the re-balanced combat in Aero GPX! I finally got around to properly implementing machine mass/weight, and then re-did the collision physics/math to be a lot more "badass" and lively. These new combat physics are best shown off when using a combat focused and heavy machine like the Sunlit Warrior! There was something pretty cool that kept happening with the new physics that I thought was just too awesome to not take advantage of, and that's what I'm calling "Pool Shots!" Anytime you strike another machine hard enough that it goes flying into another machine and KO'ing that one you get a funny little pop-up saying "Pool Shot!" The keen eared among you might also notice a funny little sound in addition to the normal (placeholder) beep-tone that you hear when you get a KO. Impact visuals, effects, and sounds are all still placeholder stuff. I plan on doing a pass on all of that sometime in the future to really beef it up and make it look/sound more badass, but I was far too happy with the tweaked combat to not share even in it's early state! Aero GPX's development is coming along nicely as of late. As always, thanks for following along! I really appreciate it!
