Follow paleontologists from the NC Museum of Natural Sciences (‪@ncnaturalsciences‬) as they carefully dig out a complete skeleton of a dicynodont from a secret location in the Piedmont. Dicynodonts are barrel-chested proto-dinosaurs with tusks and a turtle-like beak. They roamed the area 250 million years ago, before the age of dinosaurs.
