CU Esports National Championships Awards Ceremony 2-11-2026

CU to unveil Esports National Championship trophies ATHENS, WV — Concord University Esports team enthusiastically invites our community, campus family, and media to a trophy unveiling and ring ceremony at 3 p.m. on Feb. 11 to celebrate five 2025 national championships.The event will take place in the main theatre of the Alexander Fine Arts Center and feature comments from Esports Director Austin Clay and the ring presentation to the members of the CU Fortnite team, which won the Eastern College Athletic Conference Builds Spring 2025 National Championship; and the Rocket League team, which captured the Collegiate Esports Commissioners Spring 2025 Cup, East Coast Conference Spring 2025 National Championship, National Esports Collegiate Conference Division 1 Spring 2025 National Championship, and the Eastern College Athletic Conference Titans Spring 2025 National Championship. Concord developed the Esports program in 2019 and has claimed 24 total championships since then. In addition, the University has been recognized for numerous accomplishments, including being a finalist for the 2024 CECC Program of the Year, Finalists for the 2024 CECC Program Impact Award, and the 2024 ECAC Commissioners Cup recipients.
