#EpicDuel #ArtixEntertainment #LegendaryNightwraith #Nightwraith #CyberHunter As per the Omega 1.7.16 update on April 05, 2019, Passive Skills have returned. This has brought a dramatically new dynamic to boss fights, generally making it much easier for classes such as Blood Mage and Cyber Hunter to defeat certain bosses, even ones that were previously not possible for them. Note: The build shown in this video is incorrect. I did not catch this mistake until after uploading it. The correct build was: Health: 1,000 Energy: 620 Strength: 19 Dexterity: 42 + 35 Technology: 116 +35 Support: 39 +14 The skills were: 8-1-1 1-1-10 1-10-1 1-1-10 I don't know whether using Shadow Arts is actually worth it, statistically, due to the Support requirement. It may or may not be easier without it. However, here was my reasoning: unlike the other bosses, all of Nighwraith's block-able attacks are frighteningly strong (unlike Endless M4tr1x, for example, where only her Berzerker does a tiny bit of damage or Dage, who's only blockable attack is a minimal damage strike), and they are his only "strong" attacks (Bunker Buster does moderate damage, but that's it). NPCs make moves on a completely random bases based on the available options that are cooled down, so 10% block essentially translate to reducing the probability that he uses a "strong" attack by 10%, which is extremely statistically advantageous considering you basically cannot lose unless he uses two or more "strong" attacks in succession before your heal cools down. Spending the 21 points on Support also improves Defense Matrix by about 35 points and reduces your chance of being critted by about 3%. If I were to put those 21 points into Dex. instead of Support and not get Shadow Arts, I would gain about 40 base Defense and about 5% block chance. Obviously, 40 Defense at all times is better than 35 from Defense Matrix, which is only active about 60-75%-ish of the time (usually, 3 turns on and 1-2 turns off per heal rotation); therefore, using Dex., you get roughly a 25-40% chance of negating an extra 40 damage, assuming he doesn't crit. I would have no idea, precisely, if this makes up for the 5% extra block and 3% crit reduction from using the Shadow Arts build in real world circumstances unless I used a big statistical simulation. You can argue that, on paper, one seems better than the other... but what's the point in that if you can try and see for yourself which one eventually works. All I can say is, I tried numerous times without Shadow Arts before resorting to it; at the time, it seemed like the only possible way was to rely on extreme luck, hence why Shadow Arts might actually be better. Anyway, if you wish to defeat him as Cyber Hunter, definitely give it a try both ways and let me know how it goes!
