DRILLING INTO A WALL TO FIX A SHELF

In this video, I show you step by step how to drill holes into a wall and securely fix shelves using sturdy metal brackets. I start by marking out the position of the brackets and drilling the holes using a 6mm masonry drill bit. Once the holes are drilled, I insert brown wall plugs (rawl plugs) into the wall to ensure a strong and secure fixing. Next, I fix the brackets to the wall using 4 x 65mm screws, tightening them firmly so the brackets are solid and level. After the brackets are installed, I place the shelves on top and secure them to the brackets using 3.5mm x 32mm screws, making sure everything is aligned and stable. This method is ideal for safely mounting shelves on masonry walls and provides a strong, long-lasting finish.
