Watch Live: The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), in collaboration with Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (I.A.S.E), Agartala, Tripura will organize a One-Day long State Level Workshop for the nationwide rollout of two landmark initiatives—National Professional Standards for Teachers (#NPST) and National Mission for Mentoring (#NMM). This workshop marks a pivotal step towards transforming school education and professional development of teachers across India. Workshop Details: Date: 19th March 2026 (Thursday) Time: 09:30 AM Onwards Location: Pragna Bhawan, Hall No. 1, Nehru Complex, Gorkhabasti, Agartala, Tripura Focus Areas of the Workshop: 1. Orientation on NEP 2020 mandates with focus on NPST and NMM. 2. Capacity building and handholding of state functionaries, principals and teachers. 3. Live demonstration and registration on NPST & NMM digital portals. 4. Implementation roadmap and stakeholder feedback for effective rollout. The state level workshops being organized by NCTE across the nation serve as a platform for States/UTs and aim at capacity building, information sharing, and handholding for effective adoption and adaptation of NPST and NMM.
