GINGER LEMON RASAM RECIPE / LEMON GINGER RASAM RECIPE / IMMUNITY BOOSTER RECIPE / LEMON RASAM / GINGER RASAM / RASAM RECIPE FOR IMMUNITY / GINGER LEMON FOR INDIGESTION / RASAM WITHOUT RASAM POWDER / எலுமிச்சை இஞ்சி ரசம் (Recipe No - 128) Inji Elumichai Rasam Seivathu Eppadi | How to Make Ginger Lemon Rasam | Rasam Kaise Banate Hain Ginger Lemon Rasam is usually made in all South Indian homes and it is considered to be the rasam for immunity and indigestion (best remedy for indigestion). It's easy to make and rich in ginger and lemon flavors, and doesn't need separate rasam powder. It's extremely soothing for the throat and is considered an immunity booster drink / immunity rasam recipe. Given the medicinal benefits of this rasam it is referred as Marunthu Rasam Recipe in Tamil (Medicinal Rasam Recipe). It is also prepared separately as Lemon Rasam (Nimbu Rasam Recipe) or Ginger Rasam (Adrak Rasam Recipe). Ginger Lemon Rasam in Tamil (Lemon Ginger Recipe in Tamil) means Inji Elumichai Rasam (Elumichai Inji Rasam) and is also called as South Indian ginger soup or South Indian ginger Lemon soup. It's the best home remedy for indigestion and cold. It is sometimes called as Pathiya Rasam in Tamil (பத்திய ரசம்). This is the Rasam for digestion. It is surely an immunity boosting rasam recipe. It is a famous rasam recipe in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi & Hindi speaking states. It is one of the quick rasam recipe, similar to the Pepper Jeera Rasam I had shared in one of the earlier videos. This rasam is made in different ways in different houses and I follow this method. Tomato, along with Coriander, curry leaves, ginger and Coriander are first made to a paste. Then we also grind pepper jeera powder. We don't actually need a separate rasam powder here. Generally it's not advisable to boil the rasam much. We have to only bring it to a boil. Only then flavors will be intact. So we must always keep in mind the same. Lastly after adding the tempering, you may squeeze half or 1 full lemon as per the required sourness. During these tough times, it's always best to have such home remedies or home immunity boosters so that our body is capable enough to fight any illness. Have a look at the recipe card.
