A busy Saturday on the Great Central Railway in Leicestershire as visit the Loughborough Central and Quorn & Woodhouse Stations for the for the 1960s 'Railways at Work' gala, with steam, diesel, passenger and freight trains. This gala was also the last one for a while at least that is ran by Quorn Station volunteer and station master, Jack A Shaw as he will not be doing anymore for a few years due to work reasons, but this gala was a good one ran by a Deltic and a GWR Hall Class locomotive, if there is another "Railways at Work" gala at the GCR, it will not by run by Jack Shaw and I will most likely just work on these events.
