Cebu Philippines - Best Waterfalls on the planet? After our incredible adventures in Bohol, we hopped on a ferry and made our way back to Cebu City. Although we couldn't spend much time in the city itself due to our tight schedule, we were eager to explore the most beautiful parts of the island. When you search for tourist attractions on Cebu Island, you'll come across numerous waterfalls. We were pleasantly surprised by the abundance of these natural wonders. In fact, they turned out to be the most stunning waterfalls we had ever seen! We decided to stay in Moalboal, a fantastic base for our motorbike excursions. From there, we embarked on our waterfall-hopping adventure. I highly recommend visiting Montpellier Waterfall, which is not heavily frequented by tourists. When we arrived at the waterfall, there were no other tourists around. We had this incredible place almost entirely to ourselves, with only a few locals sharing the beauty with us. It felt like stepping into a postcard! Another noteworthy waterfall on Cebu Island is Dao Waterfall. This one is more touristy, and you'll likely be required to hire a guide. However, it's considered a "must-see" on the island. In my opinion, Montpellier Waterfall was even better, so if you have to choose between the two, I would prioritize the first one shown in the video. For a breathtaking sunrise or sunset experience, head to Osmena Peak (Pico Osmeña). The climb is not too demanding and can be completed within 20 minutes. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a spectacular view. Unfortunately, we couldn't witness the sunset due to cloud cover, but we still enjoyed our time there immensely.
