Jennifer, a Houston resident, was stunned when she and her daughter paid $60 for two hamburgers at Johnny Rockets in the Excalibur. "Now the burger, that is a whole other story their sir," she said, noting that the burgers were nothing special—just cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise. The high prices are not unique to Johnny Rockets. Across the Strip, burger prices vary, with many hovering between $22 to $30. At Gordon Ramsay Burger in Planet Hollywood, a basic burger and fries start at $26.99, while specialty options like a Wagyu beef patty can cost up to $49.99.
