Uckfield, East Sussex, this is the old original station filmed after the new station was built on the other side of the level crossing. The footage is a copy of the VHSc tape and so not great unfortunately. There were 2 platorms although only one was used in the latter years with the main station building and platform not used. There was a footbridge and shed with a crane in it although all in pretty poor and semi vandalised condition when filmed. Originally the line continued down to Lewes although in 1969 or thereabouts the Lewes to Uckfield section was closed making Uckfield station a terminus.
