After RC antenna modification, did test flight at same place when test was done with stock antenna for comparison. Summary is; 8dBi 2.4/5.8GHz dual band antenna is worse (or at best same) than stock antenna (which is 3.8dBi but FIMI made best matching). 14dBi + 16dBi 5.8GHz panel antenna worked very well. FPV breaks are less than stock antenna (Placebo effect, though). Surprisingly panel antenna showed very long range compared to stock antenna. This test place is not opened and not good for range test and previous test with stock antenna was Test-1 2,100m, Test-2 2,160m where failsafe RTH was activated. Same place, panel antenna worked with 3,594m then failsafe RTH was activated. 66% more range. Although I have no plan to do another range test from top of hill toward ocean where stock antenna + Yagi antenna showed 7,264m and made manual RTH. If I do, may be more range could be obtainable provided battery works well.
