This has been one of the most popular questions. Programming your Lewmar Axis Remote. Clear Remote Settings then program Momentary Mode: Step 1: Press and hold the programming button for 3-5 seconds. When the light turns on wait until it flashes and turns off. Step 2: Press and hold the programming button for 3-5 seconds. While light is solid press UP on the remote. (Don't Touch anything!) The Remote will flash and the control box will flash. ** Steps Direct from Lewmar Support ** Momentary Setting: Press the program button until the light comes on, then count for five seconds, then release the button. (This step deletes any programming in the RF module.) Press the program button until the light comes on, then release the button. Press the remote arrow button once. (Any direction) The program light will blink once and return to red. Wait for the program light to rapidly blink three times and turn off. The RF module is now in momentary mode. Latching setting: Press the program button until the light comes on, then count for five seconds, then release the button. (This step deletes any programming in the RF module.) Press the program button until the light comes on, then release the button. Press the remote button once. (Any direction) The program light will blink once and return to red. Press the remote button a second time. The program light will rapidly blink three times and return to red. Wait for the program light to rapidly blink three times and turn off.
