I am Lyn the #golivegranny. I love to share all that is good about the #Isleofwight. That is the scenery, the people, the businesses, the charities etc. I won the Isle of Wight radio local heroes award for tourism in 2018 and was dubbed a one-woman tourist board! I love to share all that is good about the Isle of Wight - ie the scenery, the people, the businesses, the charities etc Today, Sunday 18th September 2022 I went to Rylstone Gardens in Shanklin for their 3 pm concert. I had read or maybe misread that the concert would be some of the Queen's favourite songs/tunes however this was not correct and I apologise for mentioning this at the beginning of the broadcast. I was a little rushed as the bus driver didn't stop when I rang the bell and I had to shout for him to let me off but of course, he had already driven passed the bus stop I wanted so I had to hurry back to arrive on time. It was a wonderful, well-supported concert and the weather was kind with beautiful sunshine for most of the time.
