Appleby Fair is by far the most popular fair in Europe, with visitors and tourists flocking from England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the entire globe. I visited a horse drive on Sunday 26th of August 2012 ''Eddies Horse Fair' Horden, County Durham but arrived a day too soon for the drive but still plenty of action for me to film & hopefully I will get the correct day next year. The weather was excellent but the field was very heavy going due to the recent rain. Visitors had arrived from Ireland, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, Northumberland & much nearer County Durham for this ever growing event 'a miini Appleby Horse Fair'. As well as the horses in the drive many travellers had brought along many horses to deal, tack & carts were also for-sale.
