In this video I visited the clan jetties from Penang. Clan Jetties are unique wooden stilt houses that were established by various Chinese clans in the 19th century. Each jetty represents a different clan. The jetties in Penang are very famous amongst tourist but mostly people only go to the most popular jetty. I decided to start my tour from the least popular jettie where people still live a normal life and there's no tourism infrastructure. During my walk around the Jetties I had my first nutmeg juice from a very friendly lady. It tasted surprisingly much like Coca-Cola, maybe the secret ingredient? To end the video I had some delicious hokkien prawn mee at a local hawker stall. ___________________________________________________ With my Youtube videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit.
