Certification Marks Scripps as Leader in Restless Legs Syndrome

Scripps neurologist J. Steven Poceta, MD, is a leader in the diagnosis and treatment of restless legs syndrome (RLS). As one of only eight certified centers in the nation, and the only one in Southern California, the Scripps Clinic Viterbi Family Sleep Center offers the latest in restless legs syndrome diagnostics and therapy. Due to the chronic nature of the disorder and potential treatment side effects, the care of RLS patients often requires close, long-term clinical management. The sleep center is located on the Scripps Green Hospital campus in La Jolla, with services in both the hospital and the adjoining Anderson Outpatient Pavilion at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines.
