Angelina Jolie's tattoos make for an amazing tapestry of 'Yant' all over her back, but I wonder how many can actually read them? Believe it or not, the writing isn't usually actually Thai - and the 'true' message is encoded several levels deep. In this clip, I'll run through all the basics you'll need to know that will help you start to identify and decode around 70% of the 'Yant' you see - whether in the form of tattoo, sacred cloth, or a mandala in a temple, office building or even a taxi.
