AWS Load Balancers ELB ALB NLB GLB CLB Tutorial for Amazon Cloud Developers

1 ELB - Elastic load balancer automatically distributes your incoming traffic across multiple targets, such as EC2 instances, containers, and IP addresses, in one or more Availability Zones. It monitors the health of registered targets, and routes traffic only to the healthy targets. Elastic Load balancer scales your load balancer if incoming traffic increases. This increases the availability of your application. You add one or more listeners to your load balancer. A listener checks for connection requests from clients, using the protocol and port that you configure. Elastic Load Balancing supports Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, Gateway Load Balancers, and Classic Load Balancers. 2. ALB - ALB is a type of Elastic load balancer. An Application Load Balancer functions at the application layer that is the seventh layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model that means it communicates using http protocol. 3.NLB - NLB is similar to ALB but NLB functions at the fourth layer of the OSI model that is transport layer. that means it communicates on TCP protocol. It can handle millions of requests per second. 4.
