Did our video help you? If so, consider buying us a beer: https://bit.ly/3feE6tJ *PLEASE READ THIS VIDEO DESCRIPTION* In this video we're going to show you the following: #1, we show you the differences in the parts used for the Manual Hub Swap Modification if you're swapping over the parts from the Tacoma manual hub knuckles you purchased to your Tacoma or 4runner knuckles that have ABS ports so you can retain ABS function. #2, you get to see the presswork on a set of A.D.D. Hubs if you just wanted to replace worn out bearings and aren't interested in a Manual Hub Swap. **In the video, I mention the fact I rebooted the Tacoma CV axles. We've made a video of rebooting 4runner CV axles but we haven't made one for Tacoma axles. Most of it is the same but there is a couple differences. #1, one of the large clamps has a different style and requires you to squeeze it very firmly together with a pair of pliers to get it to the last notch. You'll understand when you see it. This clamp design makes it harder for sure. The tiny little tabs you have to grab onto make it difficult and you need a strong set of pliers that can squeeze the clamp all the way in so you can slip the end on the band onto the last notch. An extra set of hands is very helpful. One compressing the clamp with the pliers while another person pushes down on the end of the clamp with a screwdriver making sure the end of the clamp slips over the little hook and then holds tight. This will all make sense when you see the clamp I'm talking about. It's a pain in the ass. The other thing is in regards to the tripod. With the 4runner axles, there's one c-clip on top holding the tripod on. With the Tacoma axles, there's a thick c-clip underneath and a small c-clip on top. What you have to do is expand the bottom larger c-clip and move it downward on the shaft. Next, tap the tripod down until the upper small c-clip is visible. Once you remove that small c-clip, you can now slide the tripod off and then get the other c-clip off. The rest of the rebooting procedure and optional boot stretch mod should all be the same as it is for the 4runner axles. If you have questions, just ask. *PARTS* *Please refer to Part 1 for a complete list of the parts used for this job: • Toyota Manual Hub Conversion *HELPFUL TOOLS* *Please refer to Part 1 for a complete list of the tools used for this job: • Toyota Manual Hub Conversion
