Learn how to use the Selective Editing Brush In Adobe Lightroom for Mobile. The Selective Editing Brush Tool inside of the amazing Adobe Lightroom For Mobile App allows us to adjust very specific areas of our photo without altering the rest of the image. Like the Linear and Radial Gradient Tools, the Selective Editing Brush is super helpful when we want to hide a distracting element in our image or retouch a portrait. There are two quick warnings at the start of this lesson that are worth noting. First, I use an Apple iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil throughout this tutorial. That’s an important detail because at the moment, the brush tip pressure feature that I demonstrate in the first part of this video only works with tools like these or a new Apple iPhones that has the 3D Touch capability. To be clear, the Brush tool itself works fine on all other devices, including Android tablets / smartphones and older iPads, but on these devices this brush tip pressure sensitivity feature is currently missing. Second, the Selective Editing Brush can be a frustrating tool. Mastering this tool takes more practice than most of Adobe Lightroom For Mobile’s other features. Expect to make mistakes while you are learning this one and don’t be afraid to erase your errors, or delete your brush strokes, and start over. I believe that those who put in the time to master the Selective Editing Brush will come to love the ability to paint sophisticated flexible changes directly into our images using nothing but our fingers and a smartphone or tablet’s touchscreen. This is amazing stuff but there is a bit of a learning curve so stick with this one and keep practicing! ------------ Learn Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic, Adobe Lightroom for Mobile, or Snapseed from Google with our complete video training courses at http://www.focusphotoschool.com.
