Welcome to Day 13 of the 30-Day German Fluency Challenge! 🇩🇪 It's pouring outside! Anna and Ben's hiking plans are canceled. They have to face the rain to get breakfast, but then they prepare for a cozy day on the couch. 🎧 The Story: The hiking trip is cancelled. Ben hopes the rain will stop, but a look out the window confirms the bad weather. They brave the storm to get bread rolls and get soaking wet ("nass werden"). Back home, they prepare for a cozy film marathon. 🔑 Today's Focus Verbs (Weather & Preparation): 1. Regnen (to rain - *always used with "Es": Es regnet.*) 2. Hoffen (to hope) 3. Schauen (to look) 4. Vorbereiten (to prepare - *often reflexive: sich vorbereiten*) 5. Nass werden (to get wet - *"werden" indicates a change of state*) 💡 Cultural Tip: Germans love "Gemütlichkeit" (coziness), especially on rainy days. It involves blankets, hot drinks, and staying inside! 🧠 How to use this video: 1. Listen once for the flow. 2. Listen again and try to spot the 5 verbs. 3. Repeat the sentences (Shadowing).
