Let's goo! This group got me hella excited already - without my girl Suyeon even being present yet! Today I'm reacting to Billlie's 'RING X RING' music video and give my honest thoughts and first impressions on the song and Billlie as a group. I don't know the members at all and did not follow their journey as "Mystic Rookies" - I only watched one or two very recent covers they did, which were great. Also I know that my girl "Sheon" aka Suyeon is coming to the group for their next comeback so I have to be prepared! This was.. very different! I don't know a better word to describe it. They are not here to play, they're literally trying to set new trends. I don't wanna overhype them, but female NCT anybody? No? I think they could turn out to be. For some reason I feel that way. Anyway, back to the ground and actual objective things that are able to being pointed out as of right now. The production was incredibly interesting and the way they transitioned between parts of the song was both weird and yet fitting?! It's lowkey incomprehensible for me, so I'mma just leave that out there as a standalone assumption and observation without any further explanation attempt. Their vocals are clean, their rap sounds promising and they don't even feel like rookies?! They perform just as confidently as a girlgroup that has been around for several years would do. I'm very much looking forward to new releases of this group now - just because they are straight up interesting in all their aspects - music, persona, potential. With the addition of Suyeon/Sheon I bet they're gonna pop off even more. Let's hope their next comeback is as intriguing or good as this debut was!
