What's More Important? What Matters Most

Time is your most valuable currency. It ain't money. What's got me thinking about this? You're going to be kind of surprised at what thought popped into my head to share this thought with you today. I'm going to share a story with you. And I'm going to get to that in a second right after I share a couple other things real quick. Welcome to Goose Pond Hideout. And you'll never guess, but I'm Rob. What got me thinking about this is Robert Richie, which you probably know him better as Kid Rock, sang that song Till You Can't. And that really got me thinking about time is your most valuable currency. Me growing up, the song that I always think about through my lifetime was Harry Chapin's Cats in the Cradle. He wrote that song 50 years ago. When I was a teenager. Cats in the Cradle is about a dad that doesn't have time for his kid and he's too busy with work and making money. And then when the kid's older, the kid doesn't have time for his dad and it's like he grew up just like me, right? Another song that follows along the same line is Tim McGraw's Live Like You're Dying. And that song is about 20 years old, but it got popular here real recently. The point with these three songs and the message that I'm always sharing with you, what this channel is about is live in the present. Live in the moment, live in the now. Goose Pond Hideout is about being self sufficient and independent in an everything is going wrong world. You creating a fun happy lifestyle of freedom.
