Ideally, her skin wouldn't be this pale, but my head canon for this is that the implanted Crest of Cethleann leaves her extremely malnourished and sickly. An idea I had was that human Eva would need to eat far more food than was normal, which would foreshadow her need to absorb zombies as a Demonic Beast.
