Leaders gather in Kitale for burial of Yvonne Wamalwa

The burial ceremony of Yvonne Wamalwa; wife to the late Vice President Michael Kijana Wamalwa is currently ongoing at Milimani,Kitale in the county of Trans-Nzoia . The ceremony has been graced by family, friends and top government officials among them Cs Eugene Wamalwa and Cs Ambassador Amina Mohamed, politicians from the western block have also arrived in large numbers for Yvonne Wamalwa's send off . The executive is also expected to be represented at the burial with all indications pointing to the expected arrival of Vice President William Ruto. Retired Politicians from the region who have already spoken among them Noah Wekesa and Musikari Kombo have thanked the president for appointing Eugene Wamalwa as CS Devolution. According to the family, Yvonne had been ailing for sometime and had been under the care of her sister in Nanyuki before she passed on. Yvonne will be buried next to her late husband at their Milimani home in Kitale. The late Mrs. Wamalwa is survived by her only child Mitchell Wamalwa and some step-children.
