Meeting Linda Larkin at GalaxyCon Live - December 27th, 2020

I've been using one of the guest rooms at home to attend my sessions since my little brother moved back from my alma mater and occupied this little space in the basement that I normally use for that. Aside from a minor problem with my Wi-Fi, it was enlightening to meet Linda Larkin, the speaking voice for Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and subsequent sequels, while the pandemic kept us homebound during Christmas. She was an absolute joy to chat with. ^_^ Larkin was one of the few individuals in my life aside from my immediate family to acknowledge that my ability to sing isn't so bad. I usually keep it to myself to keep calm, but I gathered the courage to put it to the test during a recorded session. That was when we talked about the live-action adaptation of Aladdin and I decided to sing a small portion of "Speechless". I misspoke when I said the proposal happened on Broadway. It actually happened when a performance in De Montfort Hall concluded.
