Like all self-respecting netizens, I spent the bulk of last September holed up in my room playing the latest chapter of Deltarune. As much as I loved the new characters and designs in the game (especially a certain [[Long-Nosed Doll]]), Toby Fox's music couldn't help but hold my attention throughout the entire experience. When it came time to decide what track I should cover, I ultimately settled on Fox's lone foray into overtly electronic music on the soundtrack—melodically strong as it may be, I felt like it lacked the punch the song needed to truly shine (I also needed a place to test out my new bass patch, but that's another story entirely). This will probably be the last of my Deflemask covers—from here on out I'm switching over to Furnace, an open-source tracker with all sorts of extra features.
