hey everyone I see a ton of new post about upgrading the dbxle 2.0 on the FB groups. The buggy has exploded in popularity over the holidays and I had a few people ask me to make an upgrade video . Soo I thought I would take a few mins and make a short video on basic upgrades with links on where to get the parts. check it out and please Subscribe to help support the channel. Thanks!!! *UPDATE*! My apologies I clipped out the video where I discussed the fan setup. You don't need to spend over 100 bucks on a crazy fan setup. im running a 13 dollar castle fan shroud with two 1.2 amp server fans underneath it. the fans are $9 bucks each and keep this motor super cool. I can run the car on 100F summer California days without issue. if there is enough interest I can make a fan video anyhow here is the link to the fans, my apologizes for not including it in the video. https://www.ebay.com/itm/152733107281 A few things I forgot to mention in the video I feel I should mention include removing and adding loctitie to all screws going through the chassie into metal.. this is crucial as alot of users have reported screws being barely hand tight right out of the box.. I also recommend changing the button head type motor mount screws to socket cap screws. These give more surface area for your hex driver to grab and decrease the chance of stripping the heads. I also forgot to mention upgrading the axles and drive cups.The front cvds need locktite added to the pins or dog bones some people call them.
