In this short Vitamix demo, the Blenditup bros, Rod and John, show you how to spice up your Vitamix blending recipes by dicing and chopping with your Vitamix blender. Often, when we think of blenders, we tend to only think of making smoothies or protein shakes, but there is so much more that you can do with your Vitamix blender. If this is your first time blending, we’re here to help you through this process and make it the best and easiest that it can be. We want you to blend it right, every time. With most food processors and blenders, the longer you leave the blade rotating, the more your food will turn to mush, but the Vitamix is such a well-crafted machine, instead of continually chopping your mix, it will just rotate it in the container. So just remember, the lower the number, the thicker the chop. As you turn the dial up, you’ll get a finer chop. You’re able to dry chop or wet chop with your Vitamix. If you’re doing small batches, we recommend the dry chop. Wet chop is a great way to do large batches of your veggies, but comes with the hassle of then draining and drying your veg. While wet chops are perfectly fine to do, we recommend doing several smaller batches of dry chops. It’ll take about the same amount of time either way if you think about it. By the time you drain and dry your wet chop, you could have several dry batches made. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamix Sign up with Blenditup and receive free Vitamix blending recipes.
