Diabetes as such causes nerve weakness. They have tingling sensation in the foot. This called as Neuropathy the nerves become weak. The stomach nerves when they become weak, then the food stays in the stomach. This is called as Diabetic Gastroparesis. This presents with bloating, nausea, vomiting sensation always they feel abdomen is full. This is the symptom of Diabetic Gastroparesis. How do we diagnose this? We do a simple endoscopy and w e do radiological test. Gastric Scintigraphy and we check the stomach whether the food has gone out. The diabetes has to be treated very well.
