I don't think I truly appreciated the sheer scope and size of this project or this board but here I am making it and carrying on. It's been difficult to know how to split the project up in terms of making, editing and deciding which videos to put up. This is the first video on making the terrain for the tiles and we start with the straight edge tiles - these are ones where the join between the rocky part of the board will be at opposite edges. These three tiered cliffs have been really fun to make and I take you through making them in a lot of detail so that you can understand the decisions that I came to as well as seeing the techniques that I'm using to achieve the results that I'm getting. To be clear this is purely the construction part of the process, painting and flocking will come a little later on in a future video. So grab your tools, unleash your imagination, and let's get started on this epic journey to build the ultimate mountainous modular wargaming board!
