After countless days of procrastination, it’s finally time! I’ve been passing a sign for the past few weeks that had me so intrigued, I finally had to stop and find out what it was all about. Join me as we explore a beautiful hiking trail system inside the rainbow Falls State Park, located just outside of Chehalis, Washington in the beautiful forest of Lewis County.  This wonderful state park backs up against managed forest land adjacent to the Chehalis river. The several miles of easy to moderate hiking trails meander through this beautiful rich forest. There are multiple river and stream crossings as well as old growth Forrest and beautiful Marsh to explore. So I reached for my ever present adventure kit that stays in the back of my truck so that when adventure calls, I’m ready to answer.
